The Queen of Flame: The Most Mysterious Fire Eater

The Queen of Flame: The Most Mysterious Fire Eater

Not much is known about
her early life. Joe was born in Italy, around the 1780s. Most likely, she began to practice the art of eating fire quite early, but for the first time, her name became famous in the 1810 area. In England, Joe surprised the audience with her extraordinary talents. Look at the famous Ghirardelli people came from all over the country.

Usually, her presentation was divided into two parts. At first, she took a sip of acid and rinsed her mouth with it. To prove that it was not just water or vinegar, Joe took a piece of iron and spat acid on it, which burned the metal.

Then, in order to prove that no fire could harm her, she took a small vessel with boiling oil and, to prove that the liquid was really very hot, she threw an egg in front of the audience. After the egg boiled, Joe took boiling oil in her mouth and held it in her mouth for a few seconds. When she spat it on fire, flames flared.

Her next trick was even more amazing. She took melted sealing wax in her mouth, and then called someone from the crowd so that he would make an impression of sealing wax, while he was still in her tongue. And although the volunteer was very close to Joe and she did this trick many times, no one ever discovered any trick.

She later switched to molten lead. Joe scooped it up with her hand and put it in her mouth, and then spit out pieces the size of a coin. So she showed the audience that not only her mouth is resistant to the effects of fire. She heated a white metal bucket and pressed it to her hair and hands, but not a single burn mark appeared on her skin. At the end of his presentation, Joe touched the red-hot metal with her tongue so that the audience could hear the hiss that the metal was publishing. But the smell of burning flesh or hair, no one heard.

Slava Joe ran ahead of her. Everyone wanted to know her secret, rumors were crawling that she was using the “secret team”, but British scientists threw up their hands - not a single protective fluid can protect such heat from the heat.

Skeptics tried unsuccessfully to find out what the secret of invulnerable Joe was, but she only laughed in their faces. “I can take the leg of the lamb and go into the oven with it!” Joe boasted. However, I have never proved this talent.

She was probably able to withstand very high temperatures. The question of how she did it, remains open.

No evidence of her future life outside of England is left. Perhaps Joe had earned enough to buy a small house somewhere in a quiet place where no one would disturb her.
