Stylish images for cold weather: 15 ideas for warming
The online edition Refinery29 on its pages showed several collections of stylish images.
And I decided not just to share them with you, but also to tell why certain images are suitable for cold weather, even for frosts. And if they are not suitable as they are, then what should be done so that such a set can be worn even at sub-zero temperatures.
The main rule of cold is no skin. Well, at least for me it works well. In too tight jeans feet freeze three times faster. So spacious mom-jeans, under them also tights can be put on. And if you want to play with the length, instead of your bare ankles, let the people around admire some interesting colored socks.
Most of the down jackets, jacket winter and other warm outerwear in our latitudes are sustained in dark shades. It is very depressing in the winter. But there is a way out - at least to put on bright colored things in the lower layers.
A great example is a “Cheburashka” fur coat and shoes to match. In cold weather, shoes can be replaced with colored suede boots or boots.
But layering is not only thin layers. You can also layer a sweater on a sweater. For example, turtlenecks in combination with all sorts of sweaters with large cuts, falling on one shoulder and other “revealing” knitwear is excellent for this (Burberry had the best examples of intricate models).
Next, go to the flirting with a sporty style: a voluminous jacket, under which a very warm sweater, black leggings, and white sports socks can fit. Instead of socks, by the way, you can use colored leggings. It looks funny and warms very well.
Often in outerwear, there is not enough insulation in the sleeves, such models are a great way to insulate in addition. I did not try, however, how easy it would be to sew a suit on the sleeves manually. But if you have a suitable coat for experiments - why not try it? Or you can search for things from the collections of five years ago.
A voluminous cape is a very convenient thing: it can be thrown over outerwear, or it can be indoors if it is not very warm there.
A long coat plus a long skirt is excellent for the cold, so under such a hem you can wear very warm tights, and if necessary, two pairs at once. Insulate in several stages.
A light autumn coat can be one of the layers of the winter set. Just imagine from above a voluminous down jacket - one of those that are so relevant today.
Even in the terrible cold, you can wear a thin chiffon skirt. Under the skirt, we wear very warm tights or even leggings. Knee-high boots. And the voluminous warm sweater.
Under loosely knit trousers, you can also wear a lot of things. Yes, they can slightly fatten the hips, but here it is important to just choose your cut and scale “hem”. Best of all in most cases will look culottes. Moreover, there was no benefit to any trousers that contact with the winter “porridge” on our sidewalks.
Grunge is a very good style for the cold. They screwed up the drivers, the jacket was on top of the oversight, under the bottom of one hundred and twenty-three layers of insulation ... By the way, pay attention: this skirt is not really a skirt, but a huge scarf. Very cool idea. Moreover, the scarves are just incredibly warm, no skirt or pants can match. Well, shoes with thick soles, which is also a plus. I realized a long time ago that it is always worth making a choice between the fur insulation and the tractor sole in the direction of the latter because the main cold still comes from the frozen ground.
